Agfa Optima 200 with Agfa Color-Apotar 42mm f/2.8

This Agfa Optima, serial number 4871, is fitted with the well-regarded Agfa Color-Apotar 42mm f/2.8 lens. The Optima was one of the first cameras to feature automatic exposure controlled by a built-in selenium light meter.

On this example, the selenium meter is no longer functional, so the camera now operates at a single fixed exposure setting. This is a common issue with early selenium cameras but does not affect the mechanical operation of the camera itself.
