Canon BT-55 Lens Hood

The Canon BT-55 is an original bayonet-mount lens hood designed for several classic Canon FD telephoto lenses with a 55mm filter size. Compatible lenses include the Canon FD 85mm f/1.8, FD 100mm f/2.8 and FD 135mm f/3.5.

The hood helps reduce stray light and lens flare, preserving contrast in your photographs. It also provides additional protection for the front element against bumps and scratches. A useful original accessory for users and collectors of analogue Canon FD equipment.

Please note that the BT-55 is intended for older FD lens versions; certain New FD lenses with a 52mm filter size require the BT-52 instead.
