Physycal properties:

The emulsion is coated on a transparent tear proof polyester PET base (0,1mm).

It features an protection layer and a special coating for the film transportation in the cameras. Practice tests have shown, that the film can be pushed up to ISO 3200. However the best results are between ISO 200 – 400. Reciprocity failure will start at 2 seconds.

Processing:

BU-400 must be loaded/handled/processed in complete darkness due to it`s wide sensitivity. It can be processed in spiral tanks, rotation and automatic deep tanks/hanger. It will not contaminate the processing chemistry. I`ve made several tests and BU-400 can be processed with developes by RODINAL, AGFA, ILFORD, KODAK, SPUR and TETENAL. For the best results a test development is recommended.
