Hasselblad 500 Left Hand Pistol Grip

The Hasselblad Left Hand Pistol Grip is an original accessory for the Hasselblad 500 series, specifically designed for the 500C and 500C/M. The grip attaches to the camera's quick attachment shoe and is designed to hold the camera comfortably with the left hand. The release trigger on the grip is mechanically connected to the camera's shutter release.

The pistol grip is particularly useful when using a prism finder or sports finder, allowing the Hasselblad to be operated comfortably at eye level. This leaves the right hand free for focusing, advancing the film and operating the lens.
