Hasselblad Bright-Matte Focusing Screen 42226

The Hasselblad Bright-Matte Focusing Screen 42226 is an interchangeable focusing screen for Hasselblad V-system cameras. Produced in 1987 and 1988, it was introduced as a successor to the older Octofiber screen and preceded the later Acute-Matte design.

The Bright-Matte screen is identifiable by its thin central circle and provides a bright viewfinder image for comfortable manual focusing. It is a relatively rare accessory of interest to Hasselblad users and collectors.
