Leica ABLON Film Trim Guide

The Leica ABLON is a classic metal film trimming guide used to cut the leader of 35mm film to the correct profile for Leica screw mount cameras. The specially shaped long film leader is important for correctly loading classic Leica I, II and III models with Leica Thread Mount. The ABLON is a distinctive and increasingly rare Leica accessory, making it both practical to use and interesting to collectors of Leica Barnack cameras. The original Leica accessory is known under catalogue number 14126.
