The Minox 35 EL is an exceptionally compact 35mm film camera introduced in 1976. The Minox 35 series became well known for its remarkably small size and portability while retaining the full 35mm film format. The camera was designed by Peter Junge and manufactured in Germany.
The Minox 35 EL features a fixed Minox Color-Minotar 35mm f/2.8 lens. Its wide-angle focal length makes it suitable for street photography, travel, documentary work and everyday snapshots. The camera uses automatic exposure with aperture priority, allowing the photographer to select the aperture while the camera determines the shutter speed.
This example comes with its original box. However, the light meter is no longer working, which means the automatic exposure system may not function correctly. The camera is therefore particularly interesting for repair, spare parts or collectors. The operation of the remaining functions has not been specified and should be checked separately.
